OneOmega Wins $160M USCG Contract for Information Assurance, Risk Management Framework Support

OneOmega has secured a $160 million contract from the U.S. Coast Guard to provide information assurance and support services involving tasks that ensure compliance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework.

The award, posted Tuesday on SAM.gov, was competitively procured and set aside for small businesses.

Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle, OneOmega will deliver a full spectrum of services to support the Coast Guard's information assurance program. According to the scope of work in the service requirement solicitation, task areas include governance, risk and compliance; system categorization and control selection; assessment and authorization; continuous monitoring; vulnerability management; and cybersecurity operations. The contract also covers policy development, process improvement and technical advisory services to align with evolving federal cybersecurity mandates.

The contractor must apply the NIST Risk Management Framework to safeguard information systems and data, enabling secure mission operations across shore-based, afloat and deployable environments. Work will require specialized expertise in areas such as security control assessor support, information system security engineering, incident response planning and audit readiness. Deliverables will include documentation, metrics and reports that demonstrate compliance with Department of Homeland Security requirements and other federal standards.

The contract ordering period will not exceed 60 months, with specific performance periods stipulated in each task order, which the Coast Guard may issue at any time during the period. Work will be performed in USCG facilities in Washington, D.C.; Maryland; California; Virginia; West Virginia; and North Carolina. Services could also be delivered to other facilities and vessels within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories.
