McClung answer to Jeopardy clue
Mac McClung established VHSL scoring records and won a state title at Gate City High School.
He played for head coach Patrick Ewing at Georgetown University and participated in the NCAA Tournament for Texas Tech.
McClung has won the previous three NBA slam dunk contests, been a G League MVP and champion and has suited up in regular-season games for the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic.
He achieved another career highlight on May 9 when he was mentioned on the popular game show "Jeopardy."
A $200 clue under the category labeled "Baskets", host Ken Jennings asked while a picture of McClung appeared on the screen: "In 2025, Mac McClung was the first to three-peat as champ of this NBA contest with an unreal leap over a Kia to score a basket."
