Spurred by significant local interest, the Routt County Building Department, Energy Smart Colorado and Yampa Valley Sustainability Council are hosting a free workshop including lunch for a technical training and information session on all things heat pumps.

The workshop will run 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Routt County Justice Center basement conference room on Shield Drive in Steamboat Springs. Colorado energy services contractor NORESCO will provide the training that will include information on heat pump basics, cost benefit analyses and installation.
