A celebrity being honest and not attacking President Trump for once?

Is the tide truly turning?

It's an extremely low bar that simply saying one nice thing about President Trump can be newsworthy, but I suppose that's where we're at in this world right now.

And kudos to Elton John for saying it.

In a recent interview, Elton John was asked about President Trump using his "Rocket Man" song as an insult to Kim Jong Un, and I'm sure the interviewer thought it would be a softball that Elton John would smash with new Trump hatred.

Except he didn't.

Iconic liberal musician Elton John gave support to Donald Trump in his new VARIETY interview addressing when President Trump called North Korean President Jong Un "Little Rocket Man."

Nobody on earth could have convinced me this would happen in 2024.

"I laughed, I thought that was brilliant... Donald's always been a fan of mine... I've always been friendly toward him, and I thank him for his support. When he did that, I just thought it was hilarious."

As I said, low bar, but at least movement in the right direction.
