Considering that 49ers players are continuing to drop like flies, it might not be a bad idea for Shanahan to give his backups some extra burn just in case.
The Rams returned from their bye week and made easy work of the lowly Saints in a 34-10 victory. Corum had himself a decent day on the ground with 13 carries for 58 yards and something that should be noted is that this marked the second straight game where's he gotten 10+ touches in a game. The second-year back out of Michigan is still squarely behind Kyren Williams in the production department, but he's getting enough work to be a strong handcuff option throughout the second half of the season. Keep him on your radars.
