As for what is in store for Leighton's character in the show? In the Feb. 20 announcement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Netflix revealed that she will be playing "Kristen Bell's middle school nemesis who Joanne crosses paths with as an adult."

But regardless of what the next season has in store for her and Adam's character Noah, the two are no strangers to working together on set. Indeed, they previously appeared together in projects like The Oranges, Single Parents and River Wild.

In fact, Adam recently expressed that they absolutely adore any opportunity to join forces.
