Salesforce and Nvidia will collaborate to develop advanced artificial intelligence capabilities intended to enable new insights and improve productivity for teams that use Salesforce's platform.

The San Francisco companies on Tuesday said the collaboration will develop autonomous-agent and interactive-avatar experiences, allowing AI to assist with tasks such as handling crisis management events, predicting and adjusting travel or shipping routes based on live weather data, and providing customers with solutions to problems in real time.

These AI-powered avatars will deliver human-like experiences when customers or employees interact with Agentforce agents by using multi-modal AI models for speech recognition, text-to-speech conversion and contextual visual responses, the companies said.

As a result of the collaboration, Salesforce expects billions of its Agentforce Agents to be deployed in the coming years.
