Post Malone Sees Several Of His Biggest Albums Return To The Charts Ahead Of His New No. 1

On Friday (August 16), Post Malone made his transition from hip-hop and pop into country even more official with the release of his highly-anticipated new project F-1 Trillion. In the days since, it's been performing incredibly well on both streaming platforms and digital download stores. The title is likely headed for a No. 1 start on the Billboard 200, but ahead of that debut, several of Malone's biggest and most successful projects have returned to that tally.

Malone fills three spaces on the Billboard 200 this week. Two of those titles find their way back to the list of the most-consumed albums in the country, spurred by renewed interest in his catalog thanks to the release of his new full-length.

The rapper, rocker, and country star appears highest on the chart with Hollywood's Bleeding. That set reappears at No. 62 on the Billboard 200 this frame. Luminate reports that the project managed just under 15,000 equivalent units in the past tracking period.

Close to the bottom of the Billboard 200 comes Malone's second returning win. Beerbongs & Bentleys blasts back onto the list at No. 172. The set shifted another 8,700 equivalent units in the U.S. last week.

Both Hollywood's Bleeding and Beerbongs & Bentleys have topped the Billboard 200 in the past. They have also managed to rack up several hundred weeks apiece on the tally throughout their lifetimes.

Malone's most recent full-length -- aside from F-1 Trillion, that is -- is also present on the Billboard 200 once again, though it experiences a massive decline. The Diamond Collection, the musician's greatest hits compilation that features his diamond-certified tunes, falls from No. 18 to No. 161, though its descent isn't as disastrous as it may appear.

Streams of the hits featured on The Diamond Collection have largely powered the title since it dropped more than a year ago. In some instances, if the albums that the songs were originally featured on perform well enough, all the plays of those cuts can help the full-lengths climb, or, in this instance, return, while the compilation suffers. Sales and plays on sites like Spotify and Apple Music can only be counted toward one project each week, but Malone's catalog is performing well enough to keep all three efforts on the roster, which is no easy feat.
