Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra case leaks, hinting at a refreshed camera design

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to give up on the floating ring design.

Samsung's flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra is months away from launch however, leaks around the phone have begun to surface. In a fresh leak, the redesigned camera module of the S26 Ultra has been revealed by a case. Smartphone accessory makers receive dimensions of the upcoming phones quite in advance, especially if it is a flagship device. The image of the case provides us a peek at what the design of the S26 Ultra would be.

The most noticeable change is the redesigned camera module. Unlike the floating lens layout seen on previous Ultra models, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a large pill-shaped camera island. This new layout houses three main sensors, including a rectangular periscope lens, while a fourth camera, laser autofocus unit, and LED flash sit outside the raised portion. The design shift is said to resemble the Galaxy Z Fold 7's camera bump which suggests Samsung is aiming for a unified look across its flagship lineup.

Previous leaks reveal that the phone may include a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with third-generation anti-reflective glass. It is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and paired with up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The phone may also support 45W wired charging and wireless charging. Moreover, it may come with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
