Waterproof smartwatch with AMOLED display, navigation and LED: Doogee launches stripped-down variant of outdoor smartwatch

The Anywise W1 is a new and affordable smartwatch that visually resembles a Garmin Fenix smartwatch and features an AMOLED touchscreen. The watch is also waterproof, making it suitable for swimming or diving.

The Doogee Anywise W1 is the base variant of the Doogee Anywise W1 Pro. The base model is $20 cheaper and is still in a kind of pre-order phase, but delivery should be possible in the near future. Despite the relatively small price difference, the differences to the Doogee Anywise W1 Pro are significant.

For example, the Doogee Anywise W1 Pro comes with more RAM and with 2 GB of internal storage instead of 256 MB. This also results in functional differences, as the base variant cannot support offline maps, which means that navigation cannot be carried out independently of a smartphone. On the other hand, the Doogee Anywise W1 comes with a dual-band GNSS module that supports various location services.

Zinc alloy is used as the material for the watch body and, according to Doogee, the watch is water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 ATM. The Doogee Anywise W1's optical sensors support heart rate and blood oxygen saturation measurement, and stress levels can also be measured. A microphone and speaker are integrated, allowing the watch to be used as a Bluetooth hands-free device. Digital assistants can also be used on the watch.

The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and is 13.7 millimeters thick. With its visible screws and buttons, the smartwatch is quite reminiscent of Garmin's Fenix smartwatches and also features an LED.
