ANNISTON -- Voters chose new and returning representatives for the Anniston City Council on Tuesday, including a fresh face in Ward 4 and a familiar one in Ward 1.

In Ward 4, Julie Moss defeated Ashley Wilson with 57.92 percent of the vote, collecting 647 votes to Wilson's 470. Moss, the former executive director of the McClellan Development Authority, said she was humbled by the support.
