Southwest Airlines will add direct flights to New York City and Miami from Omaha's Eppley Airfield beginning in March.
Flights to the Big Apple begin March 5, 2026 and Miami on March 7, 2026, according to an Eppley Airfield social media post.

Southwest will fly between Omaha and New York's LaGuardia Airport every day except Saturdays, according to an Omaha Airport Authority spokesperson. The spokesperson added the airline will operate flights between Omaha and Miami International Airport only on Saturdays.
Southwest Airlines has long been the most used airline by Omaha passengers. Nearly 36% of passengers flying through Eppley this year have done so via Southwest, according to airport statistics.
