Kansas City Chiefs fans spot Patrick Mahomes reaction after 'final straw'

THE Kansas City Chiefs are experiencing some mid-season struggles, and Patrick Mahomes is fed up with his teammates.

Even at 11-1 on the season, the Chiefs don't look as dominant as usual.

Mahomes and the Chiefs continue to skirt by in one-score games, and they could easily have multiple more losses this season.

Friday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders was no different, as the Chiefs escaped with just a two-point victory.

They were behind for a lot of the game though, trailing 16-17 in the fourth quarter of the game.

The Chiefs had a prime opportunity to score a touchdown with about 10 minutes left in the game, but issues with the offensive line squandered that.

During the third-and-goal opportunity from the five-yard line, Chiefs offensive lineman Wanya Morris completely whiffed on a blocking rep, allowing a Raiders defender to get to Mahomes without any issue.

The sack forced the Chiefs to settle for a field goal, which would ultimately win the game for them, but Mahomes couldn't help but express his frustration.

After the sack he could be seen smacking his hand into the football before jogging off the field with a sour look.

Mahomes' frustration was seemingly enough to get Morris benched for the game.

On the next Chiefs offensive possession, Joe Thuney was in at left tackle to replace him.

Chiefs fans shared Mahomes' frustration and expressed it on social media.

"Will we look back and this be the turning point for the offense for the season? Hopefully," one fan said.

"He is frozen... can't react to anything quickly. Ooof," another fan said.

"Pressure in less than 2 seconds lol, that could have been another TD," a third fan said.

"Look at how that line is lined up, Jesus Christ they shouldn't be allowed to even call it a line," a fourth fan said.

"Wanya is really badya... he needs to sit and maybe even be waived to free up a roster spot," a fifth fan said.

The Chiefs have some issues to figure out before the regular season ends, including their troubles blocking for Patrick Mahomes.

Kansas City has played in an exceptional nine one-score games this season, winning all of them.

If those results were flipped, the Chiefs would be 2-10 on the season.

While it is impressive that they are able to tough out those close wins, that likely won't fly in the playoffs.

They will need to figure out how to close out close games before the playoffs roll around.
