A GoFundMe campaign has raised over $15,000 to support the family of Cody Aguilar Gomez, a toddler tragically killed in an accident in Annapolis. The driver, unaware of the accident at the time, contacted authorities later, and police ruled it a tragic accident with no charges filed. If you can, please contribute. If not, please share. We have all the info at EyeOnAnnapolis.net

On September 18th, a robbery and assault occurred at Arundel Mills Mall involving two male victims, ages 18 and 19. The incident started as a verbal dispute during a movie, escalating when one of the victims used racial slurs. The suspects fled, and police are seeking three Black males.

Anne Arundel County has been awarded nearly $3.9 million in federal funds to buy electric ferries for a proposed passenger ferry system connecting Annapolis, Baltimore, and Kent Island. The first ferries are expected by 2027, as part of a broader effort to modernize ferry systems across the country. The money will be used to buy two ferries and develop docking stations at the three landings.

Schroll's Brat Shop in Edgewater has officially opened. If you are not familiar, they offer a variety of Bavarian and European foods like bratwurst, German mustards, and the family's 1830 sauerkraut recipe. After starting at farmers markets, the family decided to take the plunge and open a brick-and-mortar store, which includes a tasting bar where customers can sample products before buying. Edgewater seems to be German central in Anne Arundel County with Schroll's and The Old Stein Inn!
