Netflix Continues Live Programming With Weekly Series Featuring Celebrity Medium Tyler Henry

Jordan Kahn's Vespertine Earns Back Two Michelin Stars as Restaurant Is Hailed as "Singular Operation"

The streamer has set a new weekly series -- Live From the Other Side with Tyler Henry -- that is scheduled to kick off Sept. 17, with new episodes streaming live every Tuesday at 3 p.m. PST. The deal calls for eight episodes at 45 minutes apiece. The official description details that Henry, "America's #1 medium," will give "celebrity guests hope, healing and long sought-after answers through emotional readings that showcase his gifts as a medium, clairvoyant and medical intuitive."

In a statement, Henry quipped that even he could not see this one coming from the other side but now that it's almost here, he's calling it his "biggest, most interactive" project yet.

"Not even I could've predicted that I'd be doing a live show on Netflix," offered Henry. "I am super humbled and grateful for the opportunity. I know the skepticism that comes with mediums -- and this project will let me lean into that in an honest and unedited way, demonstrating high-stakes readings in real time. My goal is for this live format to open some minds and change some lives."

The series comes from 44 Blue Prods. and Corbett/Stern Prods. with an executive producer team including Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, David Hale and Jill Dickerson for 44 Blue, Michael Corbett and Larry Stern for Corbett/Stern. John Ferracane will serve as show runner.

Live From the Other Side with Tyler Henry puts the clairvoyant medium back into the Netflix fold. He previously starred in the streamer's Emmy nominated Life After Death with Tyler Henry, which rolled out nine episodes in 2022. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this spring, Henry confirmed that talks with Netflix were ongoing and that he felt positive about another series. The 28-year-old became a breakout star after Hollywood Medium on E!, and he has since built a career that includes his TV projects, live tours, private readings, books and his app on Fireside, The Collective.

The new series marks a continued push from Netflix into live programming, following on the heels of such programs as The Roast of Tom Brady, Katt Williams: Woke Foke, Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in LA, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage, the Netflix Slam featuring Rafael Nadal versus Carlos Alcaraz, the Netflix Cup, Dinner Time Live with David Chang. There's more on the way like Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef, the much anticipated ringside brawl featuring Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson, NFL games on Christmas Day and WWE Raw next year.
