MP Bidyut Mahato says Modi government fulfilling Patel's vision of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'

Jamshedpur, Oct 31: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jamshedpur Mahanagar on Friday celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and the nation's first Home Minister, with reverence and enthusiasm. The event, held under the leadership of BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Sudhanshu Ojha, witnessed floral tributes at Sardar Patel's life-size statue in Bistupur.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu, former Potka candidate Meera Munda, senior BJP leaders and numerous party workers paid homage by garlanding the statue. The atmosphere echoed with patriotic chants of "Sardar Patel Amar Rahein," "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," and "Vande Mataram."
Addressing the gathering, MP Mahato hailed Sardar Patel as "the architect of India's unity and integrity." He said, "Patel's vision of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' is being realized today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was Patel's resolute efforts that integrated 562 princely states, including Junagarh and Hyderabad, into the Indian Union."
MLA Purnima Sahu described Patel as "not just a person but an ideology," adding, "He was the embodiment of sacrifice who even renounced the Prime Minister's post for the sake of the nation."
Former candidate Meera Munda emphasized unity, saying, "Today reminds us that India's strength lies in its unity and diversity. We are committed to building a united and prosperous nation by following Sardar Patel's ideals."
Prominent leaders present included Devendra Singh, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Rajesh Shukla, Neeraj Singh, Binod Singh, Sanjiv Sinha, Manjit Singh and several BJP mandal presidents and workers.
