Jennifer Aniston's haircuts have been making headlines since the '90s -- and for good reason. Not long after her 1994 breakout on Friends, "The Rachel" -- a layered, voluminous lob inspired by and named after Aniston's character, Rachel Green -- became one of the most highly requested haircuts of all time.

Last night, Aniston stepped out at the premiere of The Morning Show with a 2025 twist on the classic cut. Luckily for us, it's even more attainable than the original. The 56-year-old actor is currently wearing long, tapered layers in a low-maintenance caramel-bronde tone. Her defined, face-framing layers begin at her jawline, and cascade down past her collarbone.

The cut has the same flattering shape and movement that make The Rachel so enviable, but also incorporates some contemporary elements. The original '90s cut relied heavily on root volume -- a look that's notoriously difficult to achieve and maintain, especially on fine hair. Aniston's new haircut incorporates more length and less volume, features a sleek root base, and focuses on the feathery, flicked ends of the original cut.

If Jennifer Aniston has inspired you to try the new Rachel, consider asking your stylist for long, face-framing, graduated layers. While the original cut requires some intense blowout skills starting from wet hair, the latest iteration could easily be styled on the fly and is easy to touch up. Rather than battling your roots, you could simply turn your ends under with a round brush (self-heating for dry hair, or paired with a blow-dry for damp), and set them with a texturizing spray.

Color-wise, Aniston's current look is also lower maintenance: Instead of those high-contrast '90s blonde streaks, her 2025 color favors lowlights and a gloss treatment that's extra subtle on the grow-out.

Aniston is all about making it easier for fans to replicate her iconic hair looks, as well as style their own, through her hair care brand LolaVie. She's also leaning into the nostalgia factor: To celebrate the brand's fourth birthday, she recently gave Friends costar Courtney Cox a blowout.
