Tiger Woods experiences one of his 'most embarrassing moments' in loss to N.Y.

The New York Golf Club has finally earned it's first TGL victory, with Rickie Fowler, Matt Fitzpatrick and Cameron Young beating Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links 10-3 at SoFi Center on Tuesday night.

The New York team won in front of New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso and other Mets players, and soon to be Yankees' Baseball Hall of Famer C.C. Sabathia.

Jupiter tried to stage a comeback with the new Hammer rules after New York built an 8-0 lead through eight holes, but Woods drove with a wedge on the 194 yard 13th hole when he thought his teammates Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner told him it was a 99 yard hole. Tiger drove well short of the hole, and threw his arms up in frustration saying "I thought I heard 99!"

Woods described the moment as saying "one of the most embarrassing moments of my golf career just happened."

New York will play again next week against Los Angeles Golf Club. Jupiter will take on the first place Bay Golf Club in two weeks.
