WASHINGTON -- Just a few days after announcing it would be cutting less popular drinks from its menu, Starbucks has unveiled the snacks and beverages that'll be available this spring.
The Starbucks spring menu will launch on Tuesday, March 4, the same day the company is removing 13 items.
The spring drink menu includes the brand new Iced Cherry Chai beverage, which remixes Starbucks' classic iced chai latte, topping it with "cherry cream cold foam and a sprinkle of crunchy topping." The drink is Starbucks' first springtime chai beverage.
"When you take a sip of Iced Cherry Chai, you immediately get a creamy texture, warm spices and notes of cherry - and it all comes together in an approachable way," Billy Altieri, lead beverage developer for Starbucks, said in a release.
The 2025 spring menu also features the return of several lavender flavored beverages, including the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, the Iced Lavender Latte and the Lavender Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage.
The Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha "features Starbucks smooth and creamy matcha and oatmilk, served over ice and topped with sweet and subtle floral notes from lavender cream cold foam."
The Iced Lavender Latte mixes "Starbucks Blonde Espresso, creamy oatmilk, ice, and the sweet and subtly floral notes of lavender."
The Lavender Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage is a combination of "sweet and subtle floral notes of lavender with vanilla syrup, milk and ice, topped with a swirl of whipped cream."
Starbucks customers are also able to customize most beverages with two springtime themed cold foams, Cherry Cream or Lavender Cream.
All new spring beverages and cold foams will be available for a limited time only.
Starbucks has also announced a Jalapeño Chicken Pocket, which is "stuffed with diced chicken, charred poblanos, green jalapeños, three-chile-pepper cheese and jalapeño cream cheese, wrapped in a toasted chile lavash flatbread." The Jalapeño Chicken Pocket will be added to Starbucks' permanent menu, according to the company.
For a limited time, customers can also get a free packet of TRUFF Original or Jalapeño Lime Hot Sauce with any breakfast sandwich or wrap, egg bites, bakes, lunch sandwiches or pockets.
