is a thought. How about just forgetting about the whole arbitrary/binary bs of "masculine" and "feminine" (including "toxic" femininity--the whole "tradwives" propaganda and its debilitating accompaniments)? I mean, we barely even have an understanding of female anatomy (see "Vagina Obscura" .
Some scientists are suggesting that there may be at least ten genders, which would suggest that the dogmatic binary definitions and expectations of feminine/masculine acceptable/demanded behaviours and roles need to be trashcanned. So, instead of wondering how The Left should present a definition of "positive masculinity", or whatever that person was yammering about on fareed's show today (and notice no discussion of women. Goddess knows WE don't count, except to be controlled by the men, toxic or otherwise!), why don't we start discussing how PEOPLE behave, positive, toxic or otherwise. As a character pointed out in "Victor, Victoria", PEOPLE behave in all sorts of ways. And some of us remember a feminist short story from the 70's (?) about an experiment in which a couple reared their child completely without gender clues. Nothing in name, clothing, toys, games, etc., as a binary indication. Freaked some of the other parents out. More of that, PLEASE!!!
