What's better than a $7.50 jar of Biscoff from Coles or Woolies? A cheaper dupe at Aldi that will save you around $3, of course, and it's a dupe that some shoppers are saying is better than the Biscoff brand itself.
In this day and age, aka trying to survive the cost of living crisis, saving $3 on a product is indisputably worth it. That $3 saving can buy you half a regular coffee with oat milk, it can buy you a KitKat on sale, it can buy you around three carrots.
Look, what I'm trying to say, is that $3 can take you places.
The Biscoff dupe better than the real deal
One Aldi fan has uploaded a photo in a Facebook group of a spread they found that they rated better than Biscoff. The Cookie Penotti Speculoos Biscuit Spread can be found on shelves at Aldi at a cheaper price than Biscoff, with the shopper saying it was between $4.50 and $4.99.
"Soooo good! Only $4.50 or maybe $4.99 but still way cheaper than $7.50 for biscoff spread at Woolies," they posted in the Aldi group.

Other fans were quick to spread the good word of this delicious cookie spread: and it even got the 10/10 rating from some kids, aka the harshest food critics in the world.
"Very good, got my kids to try it without telling them and they said, 'Mum that's biscoff so definitely buying this one from now on! Is this at Aldi now? I got mine from Woolies," one person said.
Another fan said, "It's the original Biscoff, it's sooo good I stocked up this week haha," while someone else replied, "Oops, I ate the whole jar with a spoon in 30 hours."
"It's actually really good! Little bit less calories than Biscoff too!" someone else pointed out.
One fan even shared a recipe using the spread, including a pic of their delicious cake.
"Try making a Speculoos/Biscoff buttercream & using it for the icing on a lush chocolate cake/ cupcake. I put choc hail (Dutch week) on top of the icing, or you can drizzle with chic ganache. Omg good!"
