Louise Thompson reveals she's bed-bound while battling a new health problem - The Mirror

Louise Thompson has revealed that she is bed-bound while battling a new health problem. This comes soon after the former Made In Chelsea star said she would not be able to have any more children.

The 35-year-old nearly died in 2021 when she gave birth to her son Leo. She then developed post-traumatic stress as a result of the complications. Last week she told her followers that her injuries mean she cannot carry another child.

Louise developed Asherman's Syndrome, which is where scar tissue in the uterus becomes 'glued' together, worsening bowel problems and she also had emergency surgery after a post-natal haemorrhage.

Louise has now said that she is currently working from bed due to getting a sickness bug. She took to her Instagram stories to share a video telling her fans she wasn't well.

She said: "Hello guys, happy Tuesday, The sun's out and I'm feeling a lot better today. I actually didn't even share this so I probably don't need to but yesterday I worked from bed because I was not feeling very well."

She continued: "I think I'm not alone actually. Poor Louisa, [who] I work with, was throwing up all last week and also Holly, who I work with, just arrived to the house and threw up outside and so we've had to get her into a cab.

"So if you're suffering with the lurgy just remember that you are not alone and there's not a lot annoyingly we can about it because most of these things are viruses, which is frustrating. They need to bring out a cure."

Louise spoke about what she went through when she gave birth to Leo to the Birth Trauma All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) in the summer. She teamed up with former Conservative MP Theo Clarke.

The pair are launching a petition in two weeks calling on the Government to appoint a commissioner to oversee maternity care. Speaking to The Daily Mail, Louise said: "It's something that a lot of people within my circle are talking about fairly regularly - the population problems we have.

"Thousands of women are crying out to me about this topic. Speaking on my own personal experience, I won't be able to carry another child. So immediately that puts us in a position where we are part of that problem now."

Louise has also spoken about being told that she has an ovarian cyst. She said that after some scans, she was told by doctors that she has a 5cm haemorrhagic cyst on her right ovary.

Louise is not experiencing any pain with the cyst but said she found it confusing as she's never had one before. She also pointed out that the size of the cyst is the "depth of [her] entire stomach".
