Bizman's murder: Last fugitive held from Indore | Jaipur News - The Times of India

Jaipur: The fourth and final fugitive wanted in the murder of Kuchaman-based businessman Ramesh Rulaniya (42) was arrested from Indore Saturday, marking the end of a two-week interstate manhunt.SP (Didwana-Kuchaman) Richa Tomar said that the accused, Juber Ahmad (21), was present at the crime scene inside the gym when Rulaniya was shot dead on Oct 7.Ahmad, who carried a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh, had gone underground immediately after the murder. Following the arrest of his three accomplices from Kolkata Thursday night, he fled to Prayagraj and later moved to Indore, where he was tracked down and detained by a special team of Didwana-Kuchaman police.Tomar said that Ahmad was among the suspects involved in the attack. "He managed to escape after the firing but kept changing locations to evade arrest," she said, adding that the arrest was made after technical surveillance and tip-offs from local informers.On Thursday night, police had arrested the other three accused -- Ganpat Gurjar, Dharmendra Gurjar, and Mahesh Gurjar -- from Kolkata. All four carried rewards of Rs 1 lakh each.According to investigators, the shooters are linked to Rohit Godara gang, which claimed responsibility for the murder on social media for the attack. The gang had demanded extortion from the victim, who refused to bow down to the gang's threats.
