On Monday morning, FSU head football coach Mike Norvell held his weekly press conference to offer final thoughts on the Miami game and to preview the Panthers attack.

"Our football team is very disappointed angry," said Norvell. "You watch the film and you see opportunities and things we need to clean up."

FSU begins game week practice on Tuesday morning.

Saturday's loss to Miami marked the 7th consecutive ACC loss for Florida State.

FSU knocked off 10th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will not play another non-conference game until its regular season finale at Gainesville vs. the Florida Gators.

FSU will continue its ACC slate on Saturday, October 11th in Tallahassee against the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Panthers made a change at QB on Saturday turning to freshman Mason Heintschel who led the way in a 48-7 win over Boston College.

The teams last met in 2023 at Acrisure Stadium when FSU held off the Panthers for a 24-7 win en route to an ACC Championship.
