A Connecticut establishment is recalling all ready-to-eat fruit and vegetable products manufactured at its facility between Nov. 4 and Nov. 13 due to possible listeria contamination.
Gracie's Kitchen's of New Haven, Connecticut issued the recall after finding listeria in the same facility as the ready-to-eat products.
Listeria infections can cause a range of reactions, including fever, severe headaches, diarrhea and even death.
Listeria can cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
The recalled products were distributed to various grocery stores across Connecticut and New York with sell-by dates ranging from Nov. 9 to Nov. 24.
Nearly 150 products are included in the recall such as prepackaged peppers and onions, broccoli and cauliflower florets, onions, carrots, celery, Brussels sprouts, mango, watermelon and cantaloupe.
Consumers should check their freezers and dispose of any affected products or return it to the store where the product was purchased.
