Hi, it's Bill Palmer. I need your help to fight back against Trump: Donate $5 now
If we were to take a hypothetical look at the Midwest right now, we'd see, of course, cornfields -- and in those cornfields framed in shadows, we'd see -- anger. Lots and lots of unyielding anger.
What has he DONE?
All is not well for Donald Trump in the Midwest as many are said to be regretting their votes for him -- regretting them bigly.
The fields of corn are starting to blow with long-suppressed anger at rising economic costs and unaffordable goods.
"The Working Class Project" is an organization, and they recently did a focus group about this very subject. And let me tell you -- the results were devastating for Donald Trump.
"Voters in Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas seem to be opening the door to Democrats winning back the working class vote."

In one focus group made up of working-class ladies in Iowa, they were asked if the economy had begun to get better in the last few months. The result? Zero agreed that it had.
ZERO. Not one member of that group. Iowa is pissed. So is Kansas. So is Nebraska.
"But then when he put the tariffs on and we couldn't afford groceries no more, I'm like where'd all the money go that he just cut?"
"Why are we having to pay more for everything?"
"So he (Trump) can get a ballroom I think," another member responded caustically.
There is a lesson to be learned here, and that lesson is for the Trump administration.
The economy is the powder -blue bird that looms over ALL. It doesn't matter what you say. It doesn't matter what you promise.
It is ACTIONS that tell the story. ONLY actions. And if that blue bird is not singing, people are going to KNOW.
If you continue to snip away at the cord of everyday lives, people are going to notice.
They're going to be pissed, even Trump voters, because love you MAGA might (at least SOME of MAGA) But they like having money better.
And if they're suddenly at grocery stores staring in disbelief at the soaring price for a couple of eggs or a package of bacon or a bottle of juice, they want to know WHY. Who will they blame for that? YOU, Mr. Trump. You and only you.
When participants were asked to describe the economic outlook, here are some of the words they used:
It ALWAYS comes back to the economy. The economy and economic opportunity.
And if that bird no longer soars, if in fact the bird wanders, vanishing into parts unknown, stress and anxiety are going to set in, and THEN these people will cast their eyes around for help -- and we will be there, bird in hand, reassuring and working hard -- for the people that Donald John Trump lied to, dismissed and virtually forgot ever existed.
