Birmingham City return to action this weekend with a trip to one of the early pace-setters in Stoke City.
The Potters have won three of their opening four matches in the Championship, only losing last time out to West Bromwich Albion.
Blues had been fortunate with injuries in the opening weeks of the season but Jay Stansfield was confined to the treatment room before the international break due to an ankle issue.
The striker missed Blues' 2-0 defeat at Leicester City and his fitness will be assessed before the Stoke match. Check out the latest on Blues' injured list below...
Injury: Ankle
Stansfield suffered the injury in innocuous circumstances right at the end of Blues' Carabao Cup exit to Port Vale (August 26). The 22-year-old tried to block a clearance from Vale defender Liam Gordon and the force of the challenge hurt his ankle.
He hobbled round for the final few minutes of the match and wasn't able to feature at Leicester after undergoing a scan beforehand.
"It's not a long-term thing, that's what I will say," said Blues boss Chris Davies. "It's one of those things that we'll see week by week without putting too much pressure on a date to get back. He'll try his best, as always, but it's just unfortunate."
Injury: Knee
Onto the first of Blues' two long-term casualties. Buchanan made good progress towards the end of last season and is now eight months into his recovery.
When Davies was last asked about Buchanan in late July, he said the full-back was still 'months away' from a comeback.
It is hoped the left-back will be fit towards the end of the year but he will have to go through a phased return on the training ground before he is considered for matches.
Injury: Knee
Wright is in a similar position to Buchanan, although his injury happened two months later and it was the same knee that he had injured earlier in his career which usually means a longer recovery period.
Blues have stacked their wide department in the absence of Wright with the additions of Demarai Gray, Lewis Koumas and Patrick Roberts.
The 28-year-old will have a job on his hands to regain his place in the Blues set-up when he does return.
