Valley Introduces $100,000 Grant to Drive On-Farm Water Innovation

Valley® Irrigation, the global leader in advancing agricultural productivity through precision irrigation technologies, has officially launched the Valley Irrigation Grant, a landmark $100,000 initiative designed to help growers tackle their most pressing water challenges through smart, on- farm innovation.

This grant underscores Valley's long-standing belief that growers are the most vital resource in agriculture, and that strategic investment in their ideas is the best way to drive progress across the industry.

"As the pace of change accelerates across ag, the ingenuity of farmers is what leads us forward," said Darryl Matthews, Group President - Agriculture for Valmont Industries. "We're proud to stand behind growers with a real investment, real technology, and a network of support to help turn their biggest challenges into lasting solutions."

Through the program, two North American growers will be awarded in-kind grants, $75,000 for the Grand Prize and $25,000 for the Secondary Prize, redeemable for Valley equipment, technology, and services through their local Valley dealer. Applications are now open at valleyirrigation.com/grant and will be accepted through December 15, 2025.

For Valley dealers, the program opens the door to identify high-value projects that solve real-world problems in their own territories. From converting outdated systems to deploying the latest water-saving technologies, the Grant creates a platform for relationship-building and meaningful growth.

"This is the kind of program that puts growers first," said Darren Siekman, Vice President, Marketing and Policy at Valley Irrigation. "It's not just about a sale, it's about coming alongside growers to solve something big, to deliver a solution that truly drives productivity on their farm. That's what sets Valley apart."

The Grand Prize winner will also take part in a strategic planning session at Valley headquarters in Omaha, NE, collaborating directly with their dealer, Valley Science and Engineering, and company leadership. Both winners will receive national media exposure and ongoing support to bring their projects to life.

Growers operating a commercial farm with 500+ irrigated acres in the U.S. (excluding NY and FL) or Canada (excluding Quebec) are eligible to apply now through December 15, 2025.

Visit valleyirrigation.com/grant to learn more, view eligibility, and access the application.
