Throughout the month of August, all 32 teams will play in three preseason exhibition games as part of a final tune-up during training camp and ahead of the regular season. It's the last chance for players on the roster bubble to prove they deserve to stick around, and an opportunity for established players to move themselves up the depth chart.
Although it doesn't ultimately mean anything in terms of playoff implications or Super Bowl contention just yet, the preseason marks the first time most teams are getting back into game action since January. As the preseason progresses, new rosters made up of new and returning players on each team will take shape for the 2025 season.
