A Buffalo man remained held on bail Friday after his arrest a day earlier on charges he burglarized Gene McCarthy's/Old First Ward Brewing.
Steven Palistrant, 35, has been accused of breaking into the Hamburg Street business Dec. 2, smashing a donation jar and stealing about $200, Buffalo police said.
Palistrant was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny, police said.
Buffalo City Court Judge Tiffany Perry ordered him held on $15,000 cash or bond, according to court records.
Palistrant was being held in the Erie County Holding Center, according to Sheriff's Office records. He's due back in court Tuesday.
