PHOENIX (AZFamily) -- The Phoenix Mercury is gearing up for the 2025 WNBA season!
On Monday, the Mercury released their regular season schedule for next year, comprised of 44 games.
The season will tip off on May 17 against the Seattle Storm in the Fry's Food Stores Home Opener at the Footprint Center. Tickets for the home opener are on sale now.
The WNBA season will run from May 16 to Sept. 11. It will include a five-game road trip against Eastern Conference teams from July 25 to Aug. 3 and a four-game homestand from Aug. 5 to 15.
The Mercury will also participate in the in-season tournament Commissioners Cup, where they will face in-conference opponents: Golden State Valkyries, Seattle Storm, Dallas Wings, Los Angeles Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, and Las Vegas Aces. The top teams from each conference will compete for a $500,000 prize pool in the Commissioner's Cup Championship on July 1.

In the 2024 season, the Mercury finished 7th overall and 4th in the Western Conference with 19 wins and 21 losses.
