WATCH: Double amputee hits golf balls three months after shark attack

Lulu Gribbin is showing her strength just months after her entire life changed.A shark attack on Florida's Gulf Coast sent the 15-year-old to the hospital, where she lost both her arm and her leg. She has undergone several surgeries and months of physical therapy. In a post on Instagram, Lulu can be seen "hitting bombs on the driving range." Her hometown community has shown unwavering support, with purple ribbons and a parade when she returned home.In June, the 15-year-old lost part of her arm and leg in a shark attack on Florida's Gulf Coast.Her friend, McCray Faust, was also injured in the attack.For two months, Gribbin received care and treatment in a Florida hospital and she was able to return home in last August.Her hometown of Mountain Brook, Alabama, welcomed her home like a true hero."She's a very strong individual and if that were me, I would have been freaking out," Leslie Higgins said. "I want to tell her, 'You're a strong individual, you're a strong woman. Keep going.'"A group of middle school girls said they look to Lulu as an inspiration."I was just thinking how much of an inspiration she is that she keeps going because I don't know if I could do it, what she has done," seventh-grade student Kennedy Romeo said. "Her recovery was amazing to watch."
