Abbottabad - Sidra Foundation, in partnership with the social welfare organization Bagan Ki Aawaz, organized a mental health awareness camp at Government High School Bagan in Abbottabad District, aiming to educate students about emotional well-being and practical coping strategies, according to a press release.
Psychologist Sidra Al-Muntaha, Chairman Sidra Foundation Rehan Khan, Shahid Jadoon, Dr. Arsalan Qureshi, and Bagan Ki Aawaz representative Sardar Yasir attended the event as special guests. The school principal and staff extended a warm welcome to the visiting team.
Throughout the camp, students were briefed on identifying mental stress, understanding its impact, adopting problem-solving skills, and embracing healthier lifestyle choices.
Dr. Sidra led an in-depth session explaining the importance of mental health, early signs of psychological strain, and practical ways students can manage emotional challenges. She emphasized that awareness at an early age plays a critical role in building a mentally resilient younger generation.
At the close of the event, representatives from Sidra Foundation and Bagan Ki Aawaz reaffirmed their commitment to continuing similar initiatives to strengthen student well-being and support broader community mental health.
