Veteran executive Ryan McLarry has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Dallas-based Thermomix USA, bringing two decades of cross-industry leadership in consumer innovation, strategy, and sales.
Owned by Germany-based Vorwerk, Thermomix manufactures the all-in-one Wi-Fi-connected cooking appliance, the TM6. It stated that McLarry's appointment marks a pivotal moment for the brand as it accelerates its domestic growth.
Thermomix USA said that its appointment comes at an important time for the company as the brand prepares for the launch of the Thermomix TM7 on Sept. 2. The company said the milestone also follows the June opening of its flagship Experience Center in Dallas and the addition of Marketing Director Sunny Yarrish in April.
With extensive cross-industry experience spanning home appliances, consumer electronics, industrial technology, and TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom), McLarry has had senior leadership roles including general manager and head of Growth Strategy at Alkegan, a private equity-backed company, director of Strategy and Business Development at TE Connectivity, and a leadership position with Samsung Electronics Home Appliances where he helped grow market share in North America.
He also played a key role in AT&T's corporate strategy team, shaping growth initiatives for one of the world's largest communication companies.
McLarry's career began with direct sales at Cutco, where he quickly became a top performer -- a foundation that fuels his passion for empowering the Thermomix community of consultants to share the brand's game-changing kitchen innovation.
"Thermomix is more than a product -- it's a movement that transforms the way people cook and connect over food," McLarry said in a statement.
With the U.S. launch of the new Thermomix TM7 a few days away, McLarry said that Thermomix is at "the kind of crossroads most companies dream about -- a perfect blend of product brilliance, passionate community, and untapped market potential in the US."
He added: "I'm here to hit the accelerator and take us down the path to extraordinary growth."
Founded in 1971, Thermomix said it has been revolutionizing kitchens across the world.
Evolving from seven functions to a total of 28 unique capabilities with its latest model, Thermomix is widely used in more than 11 million kitchens worldwide.
