More than a decade into their marriage, WWE stars Naomi and Jimmy Uso are still finding ways to create new milestones -- all while keeping wrestling fans on their toes.
Naomi, 37, announced she and Uso, 39, are expecting their first baby on the Monday, August 18, episode of WWE Raw.
The news comes less than a month after Naomi gushed about the support of her husband, whom she married in January 2014, during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
"I could talk about Big Jim all day, every day," Naomi told Us at the time.
When asked how she and Uso manage to keep things fresh amid their hectic schedules, Naomi said it all comes down to a few pillars of stability.
"I think keeping God at the forefront, staying close to our families and just communicating always, about everything," she explained. "We're always changing and growing as people. He and I figured that out very early on. We just have to be supportive of each other and grow with each other as we adapt through this career in this work."
Naomi added, "One thing I always say is, 'If you don't grow together, you grow apart.' So I put a lot of focus on us growing together in every aspect of life. I think that's why we're still rocking and rolling."
The couple's pregnancy was announced during a preview of Stephanie McMahon's "What's Your Story?" podcast, which aired during Raw.
"We need y'all to proceed with caution," Jimmy said, referencing Naomi's catchphrase. "Because there is a baby on board. We pregnant! We all the way pregnant!"
A smiling Naomi joked that she was the one who actually has to do all the work.
"I'm pregnant," she told Jimmy. "You don't have to get a big belly!"
Back inside the ring, an in-character Naomi told Raw general manager Adam Pearce that she wasn't planning on relinquishing her WWE Women's World Championship.
"I ain't handing you s***," she said. "My hormones are jumping like a disco. This ain't the time nor place. So I advise you to get the hell out my face."
Eventually, however, cooler heads prevailed inside a raucous Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
"Here's what I'm going to do," Naomi said. "I'm going to lay my title down right here. I'm going to leave my title here and I'm going to give you heifers some nine months and some change to do whatever you want to do with my title. Even if I gotta come back breastfeeding with my baby in arms, I'm coming back to pick up where I left off."
