New Poll: Coalition Recovers, Likud Soars, Chareidim Left Out

A new poll by News 14 shows a shift in political dynamics: the right-wing bloc has risen to 64 seats, gaining two more than last week. Likud, led by Bibi Netanyahu, has gained significant momentum, with Netanyahu receiving an overwhelming 52% support for prime minister. Naftali Bennett's party has weakened, and the left-wing bloc continues to struggle, while the chareidi parties are no longer part of the equation.

Likud strengthens by one seat, reaching 34, remaining the largest party by a significant margin. Bennett's party has seen a decrease, dropping to 14 seats from 16 in the previous poll. The Democrats have fallen to 11 seats, while Shas maintains its power at 11 seats. Yesh Atid rises to 8, alongside Yisrael Beiteinu and United Torah Judaism, which also each receive 8 seats.

Otzma Yehudit remains stable with 6 seats, while Blue and White and Religious Zionism each gain 5 seats. Among the Arab parties, Ra'am drops to 5 seats, Hadash-Ta'al holds steady at 5, and Balad fails to cross the electoral threshold.

In terms of blocs: the right-wing bloc has 64 seats (+2), the left-center bloc has 46 seats (-1), and the Arab parties hold 10 seats (-1).

Regarding the question of prime ministerial suitability, the results are clear: Netanyahu leads by a wide margin with 52% support, compared to only 17% for Bennett. The following candidates are Gadi Eisenkot at 15%, Avigdor Liberman at 8%, and Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz, both at 4%.

The poll was conducted yesterday among 441 adults from the general population, by Shlomo Filber.
