At least 18 people were taken to hospital after a Delta Airlines flight arriving from Minneapolis crashed upon landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, February 17, according to local reports.
Footage from Parminder Chohan shows a huge plume of black smoke wafting from the aircraft.
In an update on Monday night, Delta Airlines said there were "no fatalities and 18 customers with injuries have been transported to area hospitals".
In a press conference, Deborah Flint, CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, said "at this time we do not know of any of those passengers having critical injuries,".
