A lot of people are unsure if banks will be closed on November 25th. But according to the RBI's schedule, banks will actually be open on that day since the RBI hasn't declared a holiday for banks in Uttar Pradesh for Guru Tegh Bahadur's martyrdom day. So, banks will be operating as usual.
Typically, November 24th is recognized as a public holiday each year to commemorate the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur. However, this year, the government has decided to observe the holiday on November 25th instead. Notably, November 23rd falls on a Sunday this year. If November 24th had remained a holiday, it would have given people two days off in a row.
