WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The double murder trial of Raquel Adams continued Wednesday as several expert witnesses testified.
Adams is one of three people charged with murder for the deaths of Koredresse Tyson and Bri-yanna Williams.
They were shot in July of 2021 inside the home of George Taylor the Third, who was the COO of Tru Colors Brewing.
This afternoon, the defense examined an expert witness who spoke about phones and how IP addresses can help figure out where someone might have traveled.
An investigator explained how the FBI deployed a dive team to recover a weapon.
A New Hanover County Sheriff Deputy testified about taking part in that dive and finding a firearm in Smith Creek, and later visually confirmed the firearm they found during the testimony.
An expert in forensic firearm examinations with the State Crime Lab then testified about their examination of several firearms, including the one found in Smith Creek.
