HAMILTON -- The Thrive Charter boys basketball team's first foray into the Central Group I playoffs started with a resounding victory.

Marjon Skillman posted 19 ponts, Isaiah Gore scored 12 and Tyler Hammond added 11 as the top-seeded Titans steamrolled to a 79-32 win over 16th-seeded College Achieve Central in the opening round.

Thrive (21-4) got out to a 29-2 lead after one quarter and cruised the rest of the way.

The Titans host eighth-seeded Bound Brook in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

HIGHLANDS -- Bakar Siddik and Mohamed Traore combined for 36 points, but it wasn't enough to prevent the 11th-seeded Flashes (11-15) from falling to sixth-seeded Henry Hudson (18-8).

Burlington Twp. 80, Middletown South 46

BURLINGTON -- Quayd Hendryx led three players in double figures with 24 points, Baron Davis added 19 and Andrew Larbie tallied 15 as the second-seeded Falcons (25-3) were the better birds against the 15th-seeded Eagles (11-16). Burlington Twp. hosts Lawrence in the quarterfinals.

WESTAMPTON -- Jacob McCollum scored 15 points, Alexander Jeanty added 14 and third-seeded WestTech (16-8) pulled away from the 14th-seeded Greyhounds (12-14).
