Supporters of both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris say immigration impacted their pick for president.

Many different issues are expected to drive the choices of local voters, including first-time voters. One of those major issues is the border, which had been a major point of emphasis from politicians leading up to Election Day.

"If you look at the way that the far-right is handling immigration, the way they're handling women's bodies, the way they handle the Black and brown vote, there's no way that I could not get out and say I'm not for that."
