McLaren locked out the front row for the Sao Paulo sprint, with Oscar Piastri taking pole ahead of team-mate Lando Norris.

Piastri is willing to give up a sprint win to support the title bid of Norris, who trails Red Bull's Max Verstappen by 47 points in the standings.

Verstappen qualified fourth, behind the lead Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.

The Sprint will run to a distance of 24 laps or roughly 100km.
