BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Bakersfield police are in need of the community's help identifying a suspect in connection to a burglary at the Chick-fil-A on California Avenue.

On Aug. 29, the suspect forced his way into a detached building on the 5200 block of California Avenue and stole various tools, according to BPD.

The department released a description and surveillance photo from the scene Wednesday.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s with a thin build. He was wearing a green reflective vest, gray gloves, black shirt and pants during the alleged burglary. The suspect was last seen leaving the area riding a white bicycle.

BPD investigators ask anyone with information on the suspect's identity or whereabouts to call Detective C. Jordan at 661-326-3859 or BPD at 661-327-7111.
