Listed: The latest public notices across south Essex over the past week

Double yellow lines could be introduced and extended in three areas of Southend.

Southend Council is considering changes to parking restrictions in Woodfield Gardens, Highlands Boulevard and Hamstel Road.

The proposals include introducing new restrictions and extending existing double yellow lines.

In Woodfield Gardens, the council plans to introduce double yellow lines on the north side from the existing restrictions at the junction with Hillside Crescent to the turning circle outside number 59.

On the south side, a 10-metre section of double yellow lines is proposed between numbers 18 and 20.

Further restrictions would be introduced from number 2 to number 48 Hillside Crescent, in line with existing 10-metre junction protection restrictions.

In Highlands Boulevard, the council proposes to extend double yellow lines to 10 metres at the junctions with Buxton Avenue and Ewan Way.

In Hamstel Road, the council plans to revoke nine metres of the limited waiting bay outside number 241, replacing it with double yellow lines.

A further 6.5 metres of the limited waiting bay outside number 231 would also be revoked and replaced with double yellow lines.

The public consultation is open until December 1.

Residents can view the proposals online via the TraffWeb App or the council's website.

They can also be viewed in person at the Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend,, SS2 6ER.

Comments can be made online via the TraffWeb system under "Public Consultation", by email to [email protected], or in writing to the Traffic Management Team at the address above.

Scheme references should be quoted as follows: PTO1212 for Woodfield Gardens, PTO1195 for Highlands Boulevard, and PTO1165 for Hamstel Road.

A one-night road closure in Pitsea has been confirmed for works by Anglian Water.

Rectory Road and Delhi Road, in Pitsea, will be closed on November 27, between 7pm and 11pm.

The length of Rectory Road, Pitsea, will be closed from a point approximately 45m north of its junction with Rectory Gardens for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction.

The length of Delhi Road, Pitsea, will be shut from its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Crest Avenue, Halstow Way and vice versa (except access only into Rectory Road, Delhi Road).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

A logistics company has applied for a licence to operate three lorries and three trailers.

Lovefreight Ltd, based at 2 Hemmells, Basildon, has submitted the application for a new licence.

The proposed operating centre is at the same address.

Anyone who owns or occupies land near the site and believes their use or enjoyment may be affected has until December 2 to submit written representations.

These must be sent to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE, with a copy also sent to the applicant.
