Mary Abbott of Belper passed away peacefully on Friday 19th September 2025 at the Meadows Care Home, Alfreton, aged 96 years. Beloved mum to Katrina and Karen, treasured nanna to Paul, Leanne, Gemma and James, loved and respected mother-in-law to David and Brian, loving great grandma to Sophie, Lucy, Liam, Jack and Betsy and a good friend to many. A service to celebrate Mary's life is to be held at St Peter's Church Belper on Thursday 23rd October 2025 at 10:30am followed by a committal service at Belper Cemetery. Floral tributes are welcome or donations made in loving memory of Mary will support the work of the PDSA (Derby Branch), these maybe made at the service or online at rydefunerals.co.uk/donations. Selwyn Paul ADAMS

In Loving Memory of Selwyn Paul Adams Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on 4 October 2025. Beloved husband of Sue, much-loved father of Wayne and Donna, and cherished Grandad to Maisie, Violet and Sidney. Selwyn touched the lives of so many - through his work in business, his involvement in village life, and the friendships he built along the way. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A funeral service to celebrate Selwyn's life will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Boylestone on Monday, 10 November at 12:00 noon. Family flowers only. If you wish to honour Selwyn's memory, donations are warmly welcomed to two causes close to his heart - Derby County Community Trust and the Injured Jockeys Fund - reflecting his lifelong passions for sport, community, and helping others. Janet Elizabeth ALLSOPP

Janet passed away peacefully at The Royal Manor Nursing Home on Friday 3rd of October aged 87 years. A dearly loved Wife of the late John, adored Mum of Debra, much-loved Mother-in-Law of Ian, and the most devoted Nana to Freya and Benjamin. She filled our lives with love, laughter, and warmth, and her gentle heart and caring nature will be forever remembered. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. A service to celebrate her wonderful life will be held at All Saints Church, Mickleover, on Tuesday 28th October at 11.30 am followed by cremation at Markeaton Crematorium (Round Chapel). (Pam) Passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on 1st October 2025, aged 83 years. Beloved wife of John, much loved mum of Sally, Anya, James, Oliver and Guy, ever loving and devoted nana to her many grandchildren. Pam will be so greatly missed by all who knew her. Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 14th September 2025, aged 78 years. Leonard (Len) AUCOCK

(Len) Peacefully at rest on Saturday 12th October 2025, at the RSUH, after a short illness. Len, aged 64 years, of Tunstall. 1952 - 2025 With great sadness, we share that Keith Beaumont - a loving father, grandfather, brother & uncle - passed away peacefully at home on 23rd September 2025, aged 73, with his beloved dog Dixie by his side. A service to honour Keith's life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday 29th October at St James Church, Barton Under Needwood.
