Elle Ladine, who was voted to the All-Big Ten second team by league coaches and media, highlights three Washington women's basketball players who earned all-conference honors.
Senior forward Dalayah Daniels and sophomore guard Sayvia Sellers received honorable-mention recognition in the coaches and media polls Tuesday when the Big Ten announced its postseason awards.
Ladine, who garnered Pac-12 honorable-mention honors last season, leads UW in scoring with 17.0 points per game -- a career best -- while shooting 47.6% from the field and 40% on three-pointers.
She also averages 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
In her second Big Ten game, Ladine put the conference on notice while scoring a career-high 40 points on 15-of-25 shooting, including six three-pointers during Washington's 90-71 win at Northwestern.
It's tied for the eighth-most points in Husky history, and Ladine is the fourth UW player to reach the 40-point plateau in a game, joining Kelsey Plum, Guiliana Mendiola and Amber Melgoza.
Ladine has reached double-digit scoring in 25 of 30 games.
She's the first UW player selected to a first or second all-conference team since Melgoza in 2020.
Daniels and Sellers have been two of Washington's most productive and consistent performers this season.
Daniels averages 12.3 points, seven rebounds, two assists, 1.7 steals and 1.6 blocks, and Sellers has tallied 15.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
The Big Ten's two all-conference teams are voted by league coaches and media, who select 10 players to comprise each of the first and second teams.
The conference also tabs five players to its All-Defensive and All-Freshman teams that are voted by coaches and media.
Both polls selected USC guard JuJu Watkins as the Big Ten Player of the Year, UCLA center Lauren Betts as the Defensive Player of the Year, UCLA's Janiah Barker as the Sixth Player of the Year and USC's Lindsay Gottlieb as the Coach of the Year.
Ohio State's Jaloni Cambridge won the Freshman of the Year award in the media poll and shared the award with Michigan's Olivia Olson in the coaches' votes.
