Clark is offering residents to get of their unwanted appliances with an "Electronic Drop-Off" event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The event will take place at the Department of Public Works (DPW) Garage located at 315 Westfield Ave., behind the Police Station in Clark.

Residents will have the opportunity to properly dispose of their unwanted electronic items at this event.

Electronic waste, or e-waste, contains potentially hazardous materials that should not be thrown out with regular household trash.

By providing a designated drop-off location, the township aims to encourage environmentally responsible disposal of these items.

The DPW Garage will serve as the collection site for the electronic drop-off.

Residents are asked to bring their e-waste to the facility during the designated hours on Feb. 22. Staff will be on hand to assist with unloading items from vehicles.
