Autumn is one of the most popular times to move home, with September often ranking as the second or third busiest month, especially following the summer holidays. Key reasons for September's popularity include good weather, longer daylight hours compared to later in the year, and the desire for a smooth completion before Christmas.
The whole process of selling and buying a home is very stressful so any aspect of it that can be improved to hopefully help is surely welcome, and that includes the packing and moving chapter of the journey.
So according to the 4.7 out of five customer rating on Amazon, the ClearSpace heavy duty moving and storage bags that come in four pack sizes can help and are now, for a limited time, reduced by 15% too. The two pack is now £16.99, four pack comes in at £20.39, six pack costs £25.49 and the eight pack is currently priced at £33.99.

One buyer is simply delighted with their bag pack, saying: "Absolutely amazing moving bags! They're incredibly spacious and hold so much more than I expected, making packing and moving a breeze. The heavy-duty material feels really durable, so I'm confident they'll last through many uses. The handles are also strong and comfortable to carry, even when the bags are full. If you're looking for an efficient and reliable way to move or store items, these are an absolute must-have. I couldn't be happier with them!"
Alternatives to the ClearSpace bags are the KAV six extra large storage bags priced £9.99 from B&Q, the Taurus heavy duty storage bag range from Lakeland that come in various shapes and sizes costing between £19.99 and £34.99 and, if boxes are more your bag than bags, the W.E. Roberts moving pack available from Amazon comes with 20 'strong large cardboard boxes with tape and room list.
Back to the ClearSpace bags and the manufacturer lists the product highlights as reinforced, comfortable handles, durable woven polyethylene material that claims to keep out bugs and prevents moisture, plus a heavy-duty zipper.
However, of the sprinkling of negative comments the zipper appears to be causing the most annoyance, with one customer saying: "Solidly constructed but definitely not waterproof enough for anything beyond a light mist while moving. Water got in all the zippers" while another buyer added: "Zippers are a concern, a bit on the light duty side".
But despite a few niggles, the ClearSpace bags are still very popular with the majority of buyers, with over 800 packs sold in the past month according to Amazon not just for moving home but for storage of items too.
One buyer explains why the bags are so good, saying: "Such great moving bags. Made my move so much easier! I found them to have more space inside than boxes, easier to carry, and more durable, very functional ! You can fold them and simply reuse them for next move. The zip quality is great as well, it held all that pressure of heavy kilograms of my belongings. Great value for money!"
While another adds: "Bought these due to moving homes. Bags are Excellent. Very spacious and strong. Made moving items like towels, bedding etc really easy. Good value for money."
