PIGEON - Harbor Beach shook off a slow start in the opening minutes of its Big Thumb Conference crossover with EPBP, to easily secure a 72-32 victory, last week.
Once the Pirates got going, they didn't stop, as they led 17-6 after the first quarter and 34-15 by halftime.
They came out of the break on a 20-10 run.
Benson Harper scored a gamehigh 22 points for Harbor Beach, while Andrew Kabban was right behind with 21 points, including four 3-pointers.
Dustin Emerick connected on a pair of triples on his way to eight points for the Pirates. Drew Nickrand and Hackett Soper each added six points.
For the Lakers, Caden Carriveau turned in 17 points and Lucas Wehner scored six.
Bad Axe 49, Marlette 32
MARLETTE - Bad Axe found a way to grind out a BTC crossover victory against Marlette, last week.
The Hatchets led 24-17 at halftime and 39-24 after three quarters.
Michael Janssen led a balanced scoring effort for Bad Axe with 13 points, while Grady Seltz and AJ Fritz each added nine points. Graeme Seltz chipped in eight points.
USA 50, Brown City 42
SEBEWAING - Unionville- Sebewaing Area battled back from an eight-point deficit, to earn an eight-point BTC crossover win against Brown City, last week.
Justin Jacobs had 22 points and eight rebounds for the Patriots, while Landon Bursick also scored 22 points.
Cass City 44, Ubly 21
CASS CITY - Ubly was unable to get its offense going during a BTC crossover with Cass City, last week.
The Red Hawks got out to a 19-8 halftime lead and pushed it to 25-13 after three quarters.
UBLY - A strong third quarter lifted Ubly to a BTC crossover win against Peck, Monday night.
The Bearcats took a slim 21-18 advantage into halftime but outscored the Pirates 16-10 in the third.
Collin Franzel had a season-high 20 points for the Ubly. He scored 16 in the second half.
Collin Osantowski added 12 points, including three 3-pointers, while Brayden Franzel had 10 points and Devin Geiger scored eight.
For the Pirates, Thomas West had 11 points and Cal Heiden added 10.
