COVENTRY, R.I. (WJAR) -- A 33-year-old man was arrested after a disturbance at a polling site in Rhode Island on Tuesday, according to authorities.

The Coventry Police Department said they received a report about a man who was being disruptive to voters and political supporters at Maple Root Baptist Church at around 10:15 a.m.

The church is a registered polling location for Coventry.

Police said 33-year-old Timothy Masse allegedly confronted voters, political supporters and election staff by yelling obscenities and vulgar remarks.
